REMOTE TUTORING
Jennifer wrote for the Los Angeles Jewish Journal… “Rabbi Reuben Modek… said we would “meet” through Skype. A schedule was put into place that suited the time difference between New York and California. My son, an early riser whose school doesn’t begin until 8:45 am now receives his one-hour, weekly bar mitzvah lesson at 7 a.m. on Mondays… I listen to the hour sessions from another room so I can’t be seen on screen. This week, the rabbi and my son talked about what the Torah is… These days seem like the beginning of a personal transformation, not just for my son as he becomes a man but for me too. How we got to this moment is far from usual and where it all ends up isn’t clear, except for the part where a veteran event planner (grandma Sandra in New York) puts together an amazing bar mitzvah.” |
REMOTE TUTORING BY VIDEO CONFERENCING
Enjoy our superb curriculum and engaging educational approach through technology, from wherever you are. We train students on the west coast who will then celebrate their bar and bat mitzvah ceremony on the east coast among family and friends. We serve families in remote geographic locations void of jewish community and/or jewish educational resources. We regularly utilize video conferencing to reach all of our students when circumstances so demand, such as during snow storms, travel, etc. |
